Spent 12 months in Denmark as a Rotary Exchange Student, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Longford, before graduating from the University of Tasmania with First Class Honours in Agricultural Science, went on to complete a PhD in Agriculture with a thesis that investigated hybrid canola seed production. Held a Post-Doctoral position at the University of Central Queensland looking at navy bean physiology in Central Queensland and the Atherton Tablelands before returning to Tasmania to work with the Department of Primary Industry Water and Environment in a GRDC funded position in cereal grain extension. Began working with TP Jones in 2006 and established the Agronomy Services Division. Currently the Agronomy &amp; Crop Production Manager based at Youngtown.</image:caption>
